Gurney Environmental will be exhibiting at the WWT Drinking Water Quality Conference 5 October 2022 in Birmingham. Please join us at this important conference!
'Source Management' for Both Raw Water Supplies and Potable Storage
Visit with Gurney Environmental personnel to discuss the incredibly cost-efficient technologies available to condition water supplies in reservoirs. Proven throughout the UK and other parts of the world, these systems offer unique solutions to water treatment storage and supply problems. This is your opportunity to discuss technologies and systems that have proven to save both initial capital costs as well as ongoing operational costs as compared to traditional options whilst improving the quality of the water. Learn about our raw water supply WEARS ResMix 'Source Management' system as well as our ResMix Vital potable water storage management systems.
Raw Water Supply
Cost effective, simple to install and with very low energy consumption, ResMix provides sustainable Source Management for the first time. The ResMix 5000cc consists of two counter rotating, surface-mounted, large axial flow mixers. The units can transfer 20 tonnes of oxygenated water from the surface to the bottom of a reservoir every second, not only evening out water temperature, but also increasing net dissolved oxygen levels.
Potable Water Storage
The ResMix Vital system is a "best practice", cutting-edge solution for eliminating short circuiting, temperature variation and dead water zones in potable water reservoirs. Engineered and designed to collapse into a compact form for easy installation, the system can incorporate dosing reagent mixing and dispersant, and addresses reservoir short circuiting and stratification related issues.
The ResMix Vital has been shown to reduce the impact of chlorine residuals by as much as 45% (see case study), and minimise floor sedimentation and biological build-up on internal surfaces.
