Withernsea And Hollym Stakeholders Join Yorkshire Water For Visit To Anglian Treatment Facility At Sutton St James

Representatives from Yorkshire Water were joined by key stakeholders from the community of Withernsea and its surrounding area for a visit to Anglian Water’s Aero-Fac® waste water treatment facility in Cambridgeshire. Representatives from Anglian Water and Gurney Environmental were on hand to talk about the operations of the treatment works over the last decade (built in 2008).

Yorkshire Water Joins Other UK Water Companies By Initiating Planning For An Aero-Fac® Wastewater Treatment Works Serving Nearly 15,000 PE Near Withernsea

Gurney Environmental have been working for some time with Yorkshire Water outlining and defining the many well-established cost and operational benefits of using the company’s various technologies including Aero-Fac® and Accel-o-Fac® complete wastewater treatment systems. Aero-Fac® treatment works can normally be built for significantly less than typical activated sludge works (less CAPEX), can operate at up to 85% less than A/S (less OPEX), and thereby result in far greater long-term sustainability (far less TOTEX).

Jersey Water Places Third Order In Three Years For WEARS ResMix 1000 ‘Source Management' System

Gurney Environmental have received a third order from Jersey Water for the WEARS ResMix 1000 ‘Source Management’ systems for use in two more of their reservoirs.

This follow-on order is a vote of confidence in the ResMix ‘Source Management’ Systems which Jersey Water have been using since 2016 at their Val de la Mare Reservoir and since 2017 at the Grand Vaux Reservoir.
